Merry Christmas from Pastor Harvey

Merry Christmas all! We just wanted to take a moment out to wish you all a very happy holiday season, we look forward to this new year as a new beginning for you and pray that a spirit of refreshing overtake you as you enter into a new decade.

Remember the exhortation from Paul in Philippians 1:6 "...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." If God has started a thing in you, HE will complete the work! Be encouraged saints.

We'll see you Sunday morning!

This week's message....

Grace and Peace Everyone! Boy did we have an awesome time at service this Sunday! The message came from Isaiah 9:6-7 Topic:"The Greatest Story ever Told.....Part 2." focused upon the other side of the story of Christ's birth as his life lead Him to the Cross, and the 'part 2' of the believers life once he has received the promise of salvation, and his/her life is changed from a life of darkness and failure, to a life of light and victory.

This weeks' announcements include:
Wednesday December 23rd - Christmas Celebration 7:00pm
Friday December 31 - New Years Eve Service - Baptism and Communion

Special thanks to Minister Terry Marcum and the ICMO Team as he was our special guest while filmiing our worship dservice toda. Keep an eye out early this week for the video.

Don't forget to keep each other in prayer, and we will see you on Wednesday!

What a time we had yesterday!

Hi All and Praise the Lord!

Man did we have an awesome time in church yesterday! The Holy Spirit really moved in the worship service and people were weeping in our testimony service as well. The Word topic was "Don't fight it on your feet", encouraging us to fight our battles beginning on our knees and being led by God into sure victory no matter what we are coming up against.

We will see you all at Wednesday Bible Study!

Christ's Empowerment Center Ministries

Their smiles are a reflection of their motto,
Matthew 19:26 "...with God all things are possible."

It reminds me of a couple quotes I read recently.

"...the discovery of true purpose is not any one person's job. It is the job of the gathered community, to remind one another that the lives God is calling us to are the ones that we are living right now.
Barbara Brown Taylor

The other one is..."To grasp God in all things - this is the sign of your new birth."
Meister Eckhart

Pastor Chuck, his wonderful wife Renee, and dedicated Elder David have a unique and powerful vision to change the community in which they reside in. They are hearers and doers of the word, reaching out to the children, teenagers, young singles, married couples, divorced and the elderly with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
