The History of Christ's Empowerment Center Ministries has been a memorable one. Well into our second year on the corner of Loeffler and Main Street, it has been a memorable journey full of Joy and Heartbreak, Triumphs and Challenges, but God has brought us through them ALL up until now. We are excited about the victories that God is going to bring us in 2010 because we truly believe in the declaration of Phil. 1:6 ...."Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!"

I will Possess My Promise!

This is the Word for the day all! There are so many who are wandering in a desert place; just like the children of Israel after they were delivered from the clutches of slavery by God through Moses. Yet after years of wandering just one days' journey from the promised land they were still unable to obtain that which was promised to them because of their 'desert' mentality of unbelief and disobedience. Jesus would have us to break out of this mindset and draw near to Him, that we may receive that which has already been promised. If we allow our steps to be ordered by God then we will walk right into the blessings in our promised land which have been just waiting for us to arrive!

Saints of God, be encouraged, and keep on following after God, and before you know it...you will walk right in to your promised land!

Congratulations to our New Saints!

PTL Saints! I just wanted to take a moment to say how proud and honored we are to have several new saints joining the CECM Family on this past Sunday! We are looking forward to an exciting year 2010 and the promises that this new year brings as God leads us into His 'green pastures'.

Sunday Jan. 10, the Word was "I'm taking back my House." In this message we are stressing the importance of keeping unwanted "houseguests" like procrastination, anger, depression, etc. out of our spiritual houses so that we can thrive without being detoured by messes caused by spirits and to keep our houses 'Full' of God's presence.

We had an awesome time in Bible Study this week as we discussed how essential the presence of the Holy Spirit is in the belivers' life and how the Lord gives power to the believer in order to have a lasting and fruitful Christian life.
